Dear Diary,

Today I awoke at 3 P.M. which is not out of the ordinary but is kind of depressing.  I was excited however because I did have one task at hand.  I prepared by getting dressed and brushing my teeth and went right on over to my doctor’s office in G████.  When I got there I showed a lady my driver’s license and she gave me my prescription for Adderall.  I eagerly drove home to grab my empty thyroid medication bottle and went to the drug store to drop off the items, one new prescription and one refill.

I went home and waited for my father to return so that I could get 10 dollars to pay for my prescriptions.  Once he returned I had to tell him that I was getting a new pill and that I didn’t know much about it.  He was his usual investigative self but gave me the cash.  I went to the drug store again, waited in line and received my prescription.  I went home, gave my dad the change and the paperwork and he gave me his usual paranoid rant about drug abuse and related issues.  I went in my room and took my first pill.

I went to ████’s to smoke for a while and came back home to watch my grandmother.

I wrote a story.

I went back to ███.

I am here now.
