I can’t hear well-
out of my right ear.
My voice sounds muffled
in my head.

I’m pretty sure it’s
the result of
all those years
of shitty bands,
that were too loud.

In those cramped spaces.
In those dives
that I used to haunt.

Gods did I love it though.

IPA,
straight bourbon,
American Spirit cigarettes,
&
undying realizations & inspirations.

Just living.
Just vibing.
Just thriving.

Just jiving, with
the other 20-something-year-old
Riverwest kids.

Like minds.

A community of 
misfits.
Out at night.
All night,
every night.

But, I guess there was
